Spackling, yeah!

Welp, I decided to spackle the seams. I think I over did it. I'm procastinating again. I'll be sanding and plasti-dipping it next.

So, I've decided not to be lazy and actually TRY to finish something I really want to do.

Welp, I finally decided to get off my ass and actually finish something I REALLY wanted to do for once. That is cosplaying. First time I tried to make one was of Kat from Halo Reach, but that never came to fruition. But now I've finished ONE piece and now I'm motivated to do MORE. 

So I've decided to do Iron Man 3's Mark 42. In foam. D:

It's very obvious, I am a very messy gluer.

 The top was where I really had trouble with. I think next time I won't bother cutting and gluing those slits and just bend it.

I think it was a mistake to try sealing my seams with hot glue. I'm going to try spackle before I seal it with Plasti-Dip.

Perhaps, I should've gotten rid of the rims here? At least back one anyway. When I test fitted this helm, it was really tight on the sides and it was hard getting it in. Now I can't even put it on! D= Either way, I have to remake this helmet. It was an inch too small, I think.

Oh well, I'll have to work on the forearms next. Hey, if you're on Facebook, or rather comment here. I would LOVE some feedback as to how to improve my technique! Really needing it!

Woah, I NOW have a blog!

Well, this is my first time blogging. Here's to me not forgetting to remember that I should post often and regularly. (Maybe not daily. I'll go crazy for that. I'll aim weekly.)

Anyway, a bit about me. I love Touhou (Kind of obvious.). I also love anime, video games and other fun stuff like that.

The purpose of this blog is to put in some thoughts and other fun stuff that I can think of. I'll try to sort them based on what I did and other stuff. Yay.
